Do you mean the Playstation 1 big box collectors edition? Dont think so? Here:

Thats a great piece, wow! Imagine u find such a piece nowadays, still brand new and unopened, what a beautiful collectors-gem this would be! :heat:

EDIT: Here is one on Ebay! Maybe not such a rare gem as i thought? However, its opened and used already:

...in the end i think you are not searching for this version anyway. Guess u are after a big box ps1 jewel case-version, right? Im not the ps1-expert... :meeting: :o

I remember about a year ago a seller told me he owned a copy. If i recall he was selling some nice/ unusual pieces on either ebay.de or ebay.it... Cant remember which! and i messaged to see what else he may have. He told me he had some more nice games including a tomb raider 1. When i  asked whether it was the big box and not the later release he assured me it was the big box version! Supposedly he sold it not long before i got in touch and was amazed at the price he got offered.

Can't believe everything people tell you on the internet though as i have met plenty of douchbags claiming to own a crash bandicoot big box which im still waiting to see pics for.

Although i clearly remember the seller referring to it as 'the thick box edition'

You never got to see it so? I wouldn't care what language is on the back of it at this stage.... i dont think i have ever seen a crash big box either.... mballi might have seen one on his quest for ps1 games at the time perhaps.... thick box edition, is there an actual correct term for it? As ive heard it being called plenty names
