Back to the past all the way to 1991 , this time Acclaim brings one of the most challenging game I have ever faced;

Bart vs. The Space Mutants

Hello, fellow humans!

The goal of the game is simple , our superhero Bart Simpson must obtain certain items through 5  different stages to stop the space mutants to take over the world.

What do we collect anyway ?

Here is the secret recipe of success ;

24 Purple things – 25 Hats – 40 Ballons – 6 Exit Signs (What the hell ?) and 16 Power rods.

Is this an easy task humans ….?

The answer is NO.

You simply have no idea what you are really supposed to do with the objects. There is only one way to give rid of each object and most of times it does not make sens, this game itself does not make sense .

And the controls … ?

The controls definitely don’t help with the cause of saving the world, the controls are nearly unbearable, it takes lots and lots of practise to get used to how Bart moves and jumps .

Do the mutants look scary ?

This exit-eaters look reasonable, the game itself looks “OK”, lots of bright colors and nice animations .

You will also run into many locatons and characters from the show, including Moe, Sideshow Bob, Jebediah Springfield, Itchy and Scratchy, Nelson, Adil (Albanian spy), Krusty the Clown, and many others.

Is this adventure worth it ?

Yes , without a doubt .

It may not make sense and it may be one of the hardest to beat but it is also tons and tons of extraterrestrial fun !!!
