| Frequently Asked Questions |
Q: What games do you grade?
A: At the moment we are grading only normal game versions of the following console systems (For limited or big box game versions contact us via E-mail before placing an order.):
PSone, PS2, PSP, GB, GBC, GBA, NDS, NES, SNES, N64, GC, Wii, Xbox, Xbox360, Genesis, Mega CD, GameGear, Sega Saturn, DC, Jaguar and PCEngine.
Q: Do you grade console systems?
A: Yes we do grade console systems but we need to know the exact dimensions of the console package. Please contact us via E-mail.
Q: What type of payment do you accept?
A: At the moment we currently only accept payments via PayPal:

Q: How can I become a SGH Authorized Dealer?
A: If you have your own video game buisness you can contact us via E-mail. The general public and your customers may submit through your game shop to get their games certified by SGH. Authorized Dealers receive a rebate on all games submitted through them.
Q: Why use SGH grading?
A:
- Our standard grading scale eliminates problems caused by a wrong condition description.
- Best protection for all sealed games.
- A big increase in the resale value of all SGH graded games.
- Buyers are protected against resealed games.
Q: How do I know the sealed game I'm buying is the same game SGH certified?
A: We have a special security seal. So once a game is certified, any future attempt to open the protection case will be visibly evident. Furthermore you can only open a protection case with a special ejecter.
Q: What if I want to take my sealed game out of the protection case?
A: We anticipated that many collectors would do just that, even though the certified grade will then no longer be applicable without re-certification. That's why our protection case is designed to allow optimal observation of the sealed game inside. And remember that many collectors prefer to leave a game in its protection case for its protection, and to enhance its liquidity if they decide to sell. Also, we can open our protection cases carefully, allowing safe removal. Just send us your sealed game and we will open it for free (you only pay the shipping costs) or you can buy an ejector. Contact us via E-mail.
Q: What are the advantages of buying a graded sealed game?
A: You have the guarantee that what you are buying has been graded by a professional sealed expert. A graded game is not a reseal and you know exactly what you are getting. So you can stop bad surprises!
Q: What are the advantages of selling a graded game?
A: Graded games will normally sell for much higher prices than ungraded games. So you will have more customers and more sealed collectors who are interested in your games and you will sell your sealed games faster.
Q: Do you offer volume discounts?
A: Yes, SGH do offer volume discounts if you submit 10 or more sealed games. Contact us via E-mail.
Q: Will SGH send me an email when my graded sealed games have shipped back to me?
A: Yes, we will send you a confirmation E-mail when your graded games have shipped back to you.
Q: What happens to packages held by Customs Officials?
A: It is possible that SGH must pay a fee to Customs Officials. This fee will be passed on to you. The fee will be charged in full once your submission is received. Please note that we can not control when packages are released. You can visit your Customs Office before shipping your submission and explain your intentions for these games, that they are yours and are being sent to Germany for evaluation only. They will provide you with a form that should accompany your game submission and, when the games are returned with this form, the package will not be called into question.
Q: How do I know if the value of my sealed game is over $100 or under $100?
A: You can ask in our "What's it worth" section or you can contact us via E-mail.
Q: SGH is described as third-party. What does this mean?
A: SGH does not have a financial interest in the sealed games that we grade. We do not trade, buy or sell any SGH graded sealed games.
